July 4, 2017: Is it ok to marry your cousin?

In many parts of the world, including Hong Kong, it's not against the law to marry your first cousin. Some cultures even encourage "cousin marriages" to keep control of family goods and property.

But cousin marriages mean "inbreeding". Google "inbreeding" to see how it's responsible for genetic disorders and other consequences.

About 50% of the world's Muslims are inbred. In Pakistan about 70% of the population is inbred. In the UK, doctors are alarmed at the number of Muslim babies with disorders. See the NY Times article about Saudi Arabia when you Google "Muslim inbreeding".

When human laws go against the Law of Nature, sickness results. Hong Kong would be wise to ban cousin marriages, just as China has already done....at least in theory.
