May 7, 2019  The Malaysian Drug Trade

In Malaysia there is a famous investigative journalism team called R.AGE ("our age"!) belonging to Malaysia's top English daily paper The Star.

If you Google R.AGE you can see a photo of the R.AGE team, with information about many media awards they have received for their excellent work.

Since early 2018, the team has been working on a major report to be called "The Malaysian Drug Trade". A trailer can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2170831286334348

I am sure the report will bear much fruit: such as a tightening of security at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and a drastic reduction in the number of young Malaysians being sent as drug mules to places including Hong Kong.
