A few days ago at a meeting with several priests in Australia,
one priest said that many priests, in some places most priests,
are continuing to use "for all" at the Consecration
- and not use "for many" of the new translation
At the bottom of this article is a place for comments.
If anyone would like to comment on what's happening
in your part of the world, that would be most appreciated
Maybe you've seen this:
In conclusion, while he admits that the “for many”
might be a more literal translation of the text,
he claims that the more correct understanding of the text is that it applies to
“all.”
"He" in this quote is Pope Benedict 16!
The pope is saying that "for all" is preferable to "for
many"!
The above quote is from a criticism of Benedict for supporting "for all" !
