   October Synod - no women, no lay people

Here is a list of "Fathers" for the October Synod

Missing from list:

- the 3 cardinal presidents (including Cardinal John Tong of Hong Kong)

- lay people

- women religious

- non-clerical men religious

Even Vatican II had lay people, men and women

How is it possible that a Vatican Synod 50 years after Vatican II
could omit lay people as well as women and men religious?

The first group that needs evangelising is obviously the people in the Vatican who arranged the Synod. No doubt many people will take up this theme in the coming weeks

Is it possible that above list is not complete? That more names...of sisters, brothers and lay people...might be added?  Does anyone have any information?
