The reading of April 21st speaks to what I have to blog about today! (My Sheep Know My Voice and They Follow). I was reminded of this reading when I read what the Pope had said to the Argentinian bishops this past week

"Pray so that I do not grow proud and always know how to listen to what God wants and not what I want".

I know that Pope Francis had said some very, very, powerful things as of late, but I consider his statement above to be the most powerful yet.

The key to having a Church that is truly in and with Christ is " is a Church that listens to Christ and not what it wants".......

.This is easier said than done, because, darkness can appear as light and light may be accused of being dark. It is therefore always a challenge to listen and follow but, we pray that Pope Francis is truly hearing the voice of Christ and following.
