The church has managed to "push away" many voices of reform and people that they do not want to deal with, particularly, "feminist women", but, it is my prediction that they cannot "push away" the LGBT for much longer, and it is the needs/demands of the LGBT that is going to change the Church Institution definitively. There are many, many hot button issues, but, I predict it is the concerns with same sex marriage and of the LGBT that is the "straw" that breaks the camel's back.
