What is the reminder? We must remember this is Christ’s Church! Given that it is His Church, Pope Francis’s First Obedience is to Christ. When Christ summons Francis to this place or that place, he must go!

Sometimes, I think, there is far too much discussion about the Church, that has nothing to do with what Christ is doing. If Pope Francis wants to go to Ireland, for example, it might well be that the Lord is summoning him.

There are many issues we could discuss here…but, please let Christ call the shots!
