Todays’ reading is from the Gospel of Luke, chapter fourteen, verses 12-14. I have chosen verse 13 to comment.

13 No; when you have a party, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;

If I were to provide a story about Pope Francis, I would say that he is a believer that Christ is meant for everyone to access. Someone our dark world desperately needs is Christ, and Pope Francis is doing his best to promote Christ, whether in the RC Church or in the world.

Since it is now November, time is racing towards Advent, where we once again, are looking to the coming of Christ, as the light, for the Church and the World.
