Todays’ Gospel Reading is from Mark, Chapter One, and the verse that drew me like the Epiphany, was verse 14, which is as follows:  “…The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”  This is from my Revised Standard Version Bible.  Indeed, that is assuredly what the Epiphany means…..”The time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent, and believe in the Good News.

It seems to me that the Lord continues to proclaim this message, especially now, when the world is being continually assaulted with the most heinous crimes against humanity.

2,000 years plus have passed since Jesus’ Good News Proclamation.  Yet, the time remains being fulfilled, as well as, the Kingdom of God is still near…..so……does anyone hear and repent and believe?

After John the Baptist is arrested and killed, Jesus resumed being THE voice in the wilderness.  Jesus Christ is still THE voice in the wilderness.  Blessed are You who Hear the Word of God and Keep It!
