The Gospels relate to us how Jesus performed miracle after miracle, so called "wondrous signs". Jesus criticizes how people might believe in God, only because of the marvellous works of healing that he has done. Jesus praises those who would believe without seeing any marvels.

While we too might see the "marvellous signs and wonders of God", we are called to believe, even when we cannot see and understand. It is truly a challenge, but, our faith in Jesus Christ depends on it!
