Dear Friends

Yesterday my heart was in Australia

- 9am HK time - installation of new bishop in Toowoomba.
See articles in today's menu re this great injustice

11.30am HK time - the funeral on Gold Coast of my dear sister-in-law Yvonne.
I was there in spirit ...mentally picturing what was going on ...arriving at church...
parts of the Mass (thank you Fr Mark from Iona for representing me...),
the burial...the reception....back home recovery session

I was doing this as I visited Hei Ling Chau Island drug treatment centre
...shaking hands with some 300 men in various sections....to try to encourage them
 to "keep going".....all the while with a broken heart...close to tears at times

Thank you God, for Yve's beautiful life...all the good she did for family
and so many other people...may she continue to do good in heaven by her prayers
until we meet up again some day. Please give your consolation and strength
to my dear brother and family and to Yve's mother and sister and family

As one of many, many kind emails of sympathy said:
"all the prayers were not wasted". They went into a heavenly bank account 
that will help someone somewhere
