Dear Friends
Last night as I recorded today's Ming Pao
editorial,
I was reminded how the recent behavior of some Hong Kong
politicians has been very bad....e.g. throwing banana peels and
eggs during parliamentary speeches
The bad manners of some politicians in their
legislatures is a problem
in most countries....more so when debates are televised
Behavior that would not be tolerated in a
classroom is allowed
to take place in a legislature
Sr Clare Condon's article on yesterday's menu
had a similar theme:
Is
a new wave of violence
eroding civilised society?
- making the point that if people like politicians
give a bad example,
it's no wonder that violent behavior is increasing in society
Jesus, please give the world better (behaved) political leaders!
