Dear Friends
My
prison work in Hong Kong has brought be into frequent contact with pastors of
other denominations and other faiths.
On today's menu I've linked the website of Rabbi Yizchak Eisenbach
I often visit Kowloon
Mosque to obtain items for Muslim inmates.
Mosque is busy place these days of Ramadan.
Which reminds me: a few weeks ago at start of Ramadan, I said that during
Ramadan, Muslims don't eat till sunset. Not quite right. Most of them don't eat
till sunset, but they may, and some do, have breakfast...before sunrise!
Today: sunrise at 4.34, sunset at 7.02
And....above
Rabbi said he already knew and liked the joke about
a Rabbi, an Iman and a bishop (see this
file, July 22) !
