Dear Friends
A
couple of months ago on the MTR (metro)
I saw a Western man aged about 50,
dressed not very tidily, looking tired.
So I said hello to him.
Turned out I was wrong.
He'd been hiking ...and was far from a "down and out".
He was from England...Yorkshire or Lancashire I think.
His job: composing headlines for the South China Morning Post!
Which
explains today's brilliant front page main headline:
Warning
of drain
on water supplies
!!!
