Dear Friends
A public holiday in China and Hong Kong today for the Chung Yeung Festival....a time to visit graves and remember the dead....a beautiful custom
So many people go to the graves (as visitors) today that many families make their visits in the weeks before and after Chung Yeung, to avoid the congestion of today
Inside the hearts of peoples of all cultures, there's a sacred instinct which says that departed relatives and friends have not stopped existing but are somewhere else...and "it's a holy and good thought to pray for the dead"
------
No Ming Pao editorial or "Foreigner in HK" today, because of public holiday
On this
23rd of the month,
Jesus please bless
the people of Guangxi
(Please join me in praying for one
part of China each day of the month)
My Bible Plan for today = Please join me in using these readings for encouragement and wisdom for our daily lives
Thank you for a prayer
God bless!
