Dear Friends

Geoge Monbiot's article on today's menu, Struck Dumb
is of great importance to every person on the planet.
Sooner or later, after more Sandys and Katrinas, we are going to have to face up to the issue of climate change

The fact that climate change was not even on the agenda of the US election race, even after Sandy, shows what a mess we are in

Just like the Church: fundamental burning issues still not allowed to be discussed, not allowed to be put on the agenda, even after abuse scandals
in so many parts of the world

In the US and in the Church, this is dumbing down big time

Today's editorial in Ming Pao is entitled
A Judicial Storm Would Ruin Hong Kong
It can be accessed, together with my recording, at this site, from about midday today HK time to late evening HK time
(Re this topic: some years ago I remember hearing/seeing something to the effect that Beijing felt it made a mistake in agreeing to let foreign judges continue in HK....read: foreign judges more difficult to dumb down)

On this 7th of the month, Jesus please bless the people of Hebei
(Please join me in praying for one part of China each day of the month)

My Bible Plan for today = Please join me in using these readings for courage to "speak the truth to bullies", despite ridicule etc

Thank you for a prayer

God bless!

John W
