the one hand the happiness of Christmas approaching,
on the other hand the sadness of two senseless attacks on tiny children,
Connecticut and China,
both on December 14
On
the one hand the birth of the Good Shepherd,
on the other hand examples everywhere, in the Church as well as politics,
of leaders who care more about ambition and power and money than they do about
their people
One
hand, a hand of light.
The other hand, a hand of darkness.
May the Light of Christmas dispel the darkness of sin and death and evil!
