Dear Friends
Yesterday as I got ferry back to Central after visit to Hei Ling Chau Island detention centre, a man recognized me and said hello. I had baptized his elderly father (in their home) many years ago.
His
Dad also used to attend monthly gatherings we had for older people
at a restaurant then named "Cats"....so we used to call the gatherings
"Maau Wui" ("Cat Meetings")
His Dad is at head of table in third photo at this link...a Christmas gathering
Also in this photo! And this one (on far right)
Ferry
son was with 4 companions. A very special group.
I hope to post an article about them on menu of September 14 or 15
