What an important article!
Reality
check: gender diversity is driven by a top-down ideological movement
Unless we - individuals, families, churches, schools,
businesses, and political parties - counter gender ideology, we
will find ourselves in a world we don't recognize, saying to
ourselves once again: "I never thought this would happen,
and certainly not so fast!"
When
a typhoon/cyclone/hurricane is coming, people take shelter, get
ready, stayed tuned to news bulletins etc.
A
typhoon of licentiousness is now sweeping across the world
...and many places are not taking action.
The
typhoon is already battering North America. And it has started
causing high winds in countries like Australia. Yet how come
Australian Christian leaders are not doing more to warn about
its dangers? The silence is deafening. Even more startling is
the way so much Christian/Catholic media is "blowing with
the wind".
The

Wisdom
6-7
Listen, rulers of the nations, govern with
justice,
for you will be judged by the Lord.
Rulers, if you want to govern successfully,
seek Wisdom and she will guide your decisions.
A wise ruler is a blessing for his people.
The more wise people there are, the better our world will be.
When I, Solomon, became a ruler,
I prayed for Wisdom. I prayed, and the spirit of Wisdom came to me.
In Wisdom's company, all good things came to me.
Lord, please give me the gift
of Wisdom

Psalm
106
O give thanks to the Lord for he is good.
His great love is without end.
They are happy who do what is right,
who at all times remember what is just.
When our ancestors came out of Egypt,
they forgot the greatness of God's love.
Each time they strayed, God forgave them.
But still they continued to forget God who was their saviour,
God who had done such great things for them in Egypt.
O Lord, our God, please don't
let us forget your love

Timothy 1.6-8
I remind you to fan into a flame the gift that
God gave you
when I prayed over you with the laying on of hands
God's gift was not a spirit of timidity, but
the Spirit of power,
and love and self-control
Never be ashamed of witnessing to the Lord.
Like me and with me, put up with hardships for the sake of the Good News
Jesus, help me put up with hardships for the
sake of the Good News

Matthew
3.1-17
About 30 years after
Jesus was born,
a man began preaching repentance,
and baptizing people in the river Jordan.
This man was John the
Baptist.
His message was
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand".
John fulfilled the
prophecy:
"A voice cries in the wilderness: prepare a way for the Lord".
John said "I
baptize you with water,
but one is coming who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit".
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.
After Jesus was baptized, the heavens opened,
and Jesus saw the Spirit of God coming down on him like a dove.
And a voice from heaven
said
"This is my Son, the Beloved.
My favor rests on him".
Jesus,
please help me to prepare your way, like John the Baptist

The
Joy of Love - Pope Francis'
letter - on
love in the family
Full
English text
83: Recording
Here
I feel it urgent to state that, if the family is the sanctuary
of life, the place where life is conceived and cared for, it is
a horrendous contradiction when it becomes a place where life is
rejected and destroyed.
So
great is the value of a human life, and so inalienable the right
to life of an innocent child growing in the mother’s womb,
that no alleged right to one’s own body can justify a decision
to terminate that life, which is an end in itself and which can
never be considered the “property” of another human
being.
The
family protects human life in all its stages, including its
last. Consequently, “those who work in healthcare facilities
are reminded of the moral duty of conscientious objection.
Similarly, the Church not only feels the urgency to assert the
right to a natural death, without aggressive treatment and
euthanasia”, but likewise “firmly rejects the death
penalty”.93

86: Recording
The
universe as a whole, in all its manifold relationships, shows
forth the inexhaustible riches of God.
Saint
Thomas Aquinas wisely noted that multiplicity and variety
“come from the intention of the first agent” who willed that
“what was wanting to one in the representation of the divine
goodness might be supplied by another”,[60]
inasmuch as God’s goodness “could not be represented
fittingly by any one creature”.[61]
Hence
we need to grasp the variety of things in their multiple
relationships.[62]
We understand better the importance and meaning of each creature
if we contemplate it within the entirety of God’s plan.
As
the Catechism teaches: “God wills the interdependence of
creatures. The sun and the moon, the cedar and the little
flower, the eagle and the sparrow: the spectacle of their
countless diversities and inequalities tells us that no creature
is self-sufficient. Creatures exist only in dependence on each
other, to complete each other, in the service of each other”.[63]

A financial reform open
to such ethical considerations would require a vigorous change of approach on
the part of political leaders. I urge them to face this challenge with
determination and an eye to the future, while not ignoring, of course, the
specifics of each case. Money must serve, not rule!
The Pope loves everyone, rich and poor
alike, but he is obliged in the name of Christ to remind all that the rich must
help, respect and promote the poor. I exhort you to
generous solidarity and to the return of economics and finance to an ethical
approach which favours human beings.
